Research and statistics relating to inequalities in Greater Manchester.

Despite higher levels of deprivation, the school attainment of Greater Manchester pupils is just above the average for England and the North West. Even so, school results from the ten local authorities reveal considerable inequalities.

Here we report on the socio-economic inequalities - the differences between the attinment of pupils from low income famililes who are eligible for Free School Meals and other children.
