Space and place statistics

Research and statistics relating to inequalities in Greater Manchester.

The analysis here focuses on examining housing and transport accessibility issues, which are seen as the key drivers of urban growth and spatial competitiveness as well as the key determinants of ordinary residents’ quality of living.

The study will highlight the intra-variations of housing affordability and transport accessibility among the ten local authorities in GM, and contextualise the position of GM within the wider spatial perspective of the rest of England.
