University researcher joins project to bring urban stakeholders together
2 August 2017
Dr Janice Astbury, who completed her PhD on urban resilience at the University of Manchester in 2015, has been appointed as a research associate on the new 'LOOPER' project.
The JPI Urban Europe project LOOPER: Learning Loops in the Public Realm started on 1 July. JPI Urban Europe commits itself to ambitious intra- and interdisciplinary research on a transnational scale.
LOOPER exists to create and demonstrate 'learning loops', which bring citizens, policy-makers and stakeholders together to address urban problems such as congestion, safety and pollution.
