Local Advisory Board

The Manchester Urban Institute Local Advisory Board brings together the unique range of individuals and organisations we work with, from across the public, private and third sectors.

The Local Advisory Board creates new partnerships and research that cuts across sectors to improve the lives of Greater Manchester residents. Through doing so, it will build on Manchester Urban Institute’s global reputation for community collaboration and lead pioneering research approaches that accelerates urban transformation to make cities fairer and more sustainable.

The Local Advisory Board serves as a soft research infrastructure for Institute colleagues seeking to collaborate with partners within the city region.

The Local Advisory Board meets once or twice a year to exchange ideas, share development priorities, and embed partnerships across Greater Manchester. If you work in the region and would like to be involved, please contact mui@manchester.ac.uk.
